Why, hello there. My name is Lauren. I’m a general internist, a clinician-educator, and, most recently, a new mom. I also happen to be an engineer by degree, which more or less implies that I’m a numbers before words kind of human being. In the spirit of trying new things, I started this blog as a medical student to give writing its fair chance and to process the challenges of medical training.
